Veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-colored porcelain. They are designed to cover the front side of your teeth. To prepare for veneers, Dr. Stebbins will create a unique model of your teeth and a template for what the veneers will look like.  You will spend 3-4 weeks with provisional veneers to "test drive" the shape and color of your new veneers.  Everyone's chewing and speaking movements are unique, so this test period is essential to ensure the template is right for you. When Dr. Stebbins is satisfied that we have everything perfect in the provisional veneers, the model is sent to a dental technician who creates your permanent veneers.
